U.S. May Abandon Civilian Trial For 9/11 Suspect Attorney general hints Mohammed may be tried before military commission

WASHINGTON - Attorney General Eric Holder is leaving open the possibility of trying professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed before a military commission instead of the civilian trial originally planned for New York City.

"At the end of the day, wherever this case is tried, in whatever forum, what we have to ensure is that it's done as transparently as possible and with adherence to all the rules," Holder told The Washington Post in an interview published in Friday's editions.

"If we do that, I'm not sure the location or even the forum is as important as what the world sees in that proceeding."

The world? Funny, I thought that Holder was supposed to be the Attorney General of the United States.

Thanks Steelfish.

Right, like the Emperor’s new clothes.

But Bambi is transparent. I can see right through him and all his Bolshevik schemes.

Shouldn’t they have been tried right after they were caught in a military court? Why so such a delay? If I caught them, I would try them after interrogating them of course.

I’ll probably get flamed for this, but if KSM went before a civilian court and walked because Zero had poisoned the jury pool, the resulting reaction would probably be a better thing for America in the long run than if he’s fried after a military trial.

I won't flame you at all, FRiend. As heinous as such a scenario would be, it might be JUST the "tipping point" that would wake up America to the FASCISTS that are running (ruining)Our Beloved America.

He has and still is trying so hard to push his agenda because he can’t even fathom the fact that his policies are wrong or bad. He has been dreaming of this his whole life. he is obsessed.

I can’t imagine the congress and senate turning over so fast that there would be enough people to impeach him on a vote. But I can envision after 3 1/2 years he will succeed his thrown to someone who he wants or is told to back.

I think there is a 60% probability if things continue as they have been, that he will give it up. Rather than face a very humiliating defeat that his ego can not handle in 2012.

Who gives a damn what the “world” says or thinks Mr.Holder, we don’t stick our noses in their rule of law! This is as usual more BS.
