Police have charged six people in the death of a woman whose tortured body was found in a plastic garbage container in a Greensburg school parking lot.
Police say Jennifer Daugherty was stabbed repeatedly in a second-floor Greensburg apartment where some of the suspects live. Ms. Daugherty's age and address weren't available; she'd been missing since Monday.
According to police, Ms. Daugherty's hair was shaved and she was bound with Christmas decorations and clothing. Police say she was beaten, her face painted with nail polish and she was fed vegetable oil, spices, detergent, urine and medications.

Stepfather Bobby Murphy, 62, of Mount Pleasant, told The Associated Press that the victim had the mental abilities of a 12- to 14-year-old.Murphy said he was the last family member to see Daugherty alive, on Monday, when he took her to get on a bus to Greensburg. She had both a dentist and a counselor there who helped her with a mental disability, he said. Murphy said he's not sure which one Daugherty had an appointment with, but later that day, she called home and asked permission to spend the night at "Peggy's" house. Murphy said his stepdaughter planned to return home Tuesday.
Daugherty had become involved in a community center in Greensburg where she met several people whose names she mentioned as friends, Murphy said - including several whose first names share those of some of the suspects.
"I don't know 'em personally, but Jennifer mentioned some of their names as being her friends - but evidently not," he said.
I really don’t know, as all I have for input are the medias themselves. Unless I witness something, I have to take another’s word for it. My original comment was directed at FR, not the poor woman or the animals that did that to her. But it did show, that even here on FR, people pretty much hear/read what they want, not necessarily what is said.
Yes. I just heard it on the local news. Pennsylvania has the death penalty, but there is outside pressure by the ACLU and others to do away with it. I would like to be on the jury for this one. I am due for a call up.

We human beings tend to forget that we are animals first. In the animal world the weakest, least defensive animal becomes a target by predators. The reality is that without the Lord God we are all just animals.

I hope that none of these evil beasts have any children. They all need to be taken out of the gene pool.

Well, if she had done the same thing to one of their little sisters or something, then I could see it. But I’m not expecting their motive to anything other than simple sadism, and I’m perfectly willing to see them hung upside down and slow roasted.
Wow, what a lovely group of people. My first reaction after reading what they did to this mentally disabled woman was to have them taken to the town square and burnt alive.
