Can we get these guys to promise to do something tangible rather than just talk about fiscal discipline? How about a firm commitment to close the departments of energy and education? At the very least reduce them from cabinet level posts. The dept. of ed this year is budgeted at about 50 billion. That’s a quick and easy cut no one would miss at all.
