I have always been a Perry supporter and am always glad to help his campaign. Have had little to say about Medina because I was waiting for her to implode but this is the worst implosion I have seen.

It is not a dirty political game this time — she did it to herself — no one to blame but Medina for not answering a simple question and then trying to spin about the Truthers. If you think this is dirty politics, then politics might not be to your liking. This is not even close to being dirty to tell the truth in her own words. Blaming Perry people is a joke.

This is what candidates love to have handed to them — they don’t have to do a thing when even the Kansas City Star jumped in.

It should teach candidates a lesson that if they are not qualified they might want to run for the State House not for Governor. She left herself wide open but then her wanting to do away with property taxes which you can deduct from your federal tax in lieu of sales tax which you cannot wasn’t a very smart move as well.

Just because she came from the Tea Party movement doesn’t make her qualified. You all should have realized after the last year that people are not in the mood to have someone unqualified that needs OJT as a candidate and at the first sign of trouble, they will pounce. This was a major gaffe today and one that cannot be repaired.

In Texas of all states to try to weasel word on 9/11 with the Truthers has got to be one the biggest gaffes I have seen when you are running in a Republican primary.

I am very interested in her stance on replacing property tax with a sales tax. Aparently those who don’t own any property and simply rent don’t realize it’s their pocket book she’s aiming to dip into.

“...her wanting to do away with property taxes which you can deduct from your federal tax in lieu of sales tax which you cannot wasn’t a very smart move as well.”

Sales tax deduction extended through 2009

Congress extends the sales tax deduction, which aims to level the playing field for taxpayers in states without income taxes.
