(Newser) When Sarah Palin told Tea Party activists last week that President Obama was "a professor of law standing at the lectern," she wasn't just tapping into populist anti-intellectualismshe was also making a not-so-subtle attack on the president's race. So says Harvard professor and longtime Obama pal Charles Ogletree, who tells Inside Higher Ed that calling Obama "the professor" is close to labeling him 'uppity.'"
Other slurs against Obamaleft wing, socialist, palling around with terrorists"were buzzwords. But the reality was they were looking at this president as an African American who was out of place,

Calling him President is just an attempt to pin this economy and these policies on Obama.

It’s my understanding that Obama was not a “Professor”, he was a lecturer. Is this true?

You know, somehow I'm getting the distinct feeling that her speech at the Tea Party Convention made a huge impact that they aren't letting us know about. The libs and their sycophants are freaking out and doing everything they can to trash the “irrelevant” Sarah Palin.

Saying ANYTHING about Obama is racist according the current PC rules.
Nevermind that the majority of his administration is white. The Democratic majority in Congress is white.
Nevermind that 43 preceeding Presidents have ALL had opposition, some of them very rancorous opposition ... some have even been assasinated.
But no, EVERYTHING IS ABOUT RACE with this President ... not about policy.

racism is overrated.
If your life is truly adversely affected by an off-color joke, comment, or hatred of the President (for WHATEVER reason), you didn’t have much of a life anyway.
To: Jim Robinson
They make nonsensical claims such as these to stir their base. It’s the Alinsky factor at work. The fact that intelligent people see it for the racism that it in itself is, truly makes them idiots. Idiots, because they are their own worse enemy in such cases.
