Absolute BS. I talked to the American people, and the vast, vast majority do not want gays in their military, schools, churches, day care centers, boy scouts, or zip code.
Really, all 300 million of them? Have you polled Democrats? Independents? Folks who are nominally Christian but don't attend church regularly (the latter are far more common than the saved, btw).
I am probably the only one in this country who is an agnostic on this issue. My main concerns are 1. This will lead to an increase in "sensitivity" training 2. This will lead to lesbians driving out heterosexual women in the armed forces.
Houston just elected a Lesbian mayor. So, the American people may be slowing changing their minds about a lot of things.
