Who is Meteorologist Jeff Masters, the Man Behind the Snowpocalypse, Global Warming "connection?"

Just who is meteorologist Jeff Masters, the man behind the dubious Snowpocalypse, global warming "connection" that so many liberals like MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan, Time Magazine and the New Republic have been quoting to spread their global warming propaganda? Over the last few days, in coincidence with Snowpocalypse, the blizzards in the mid-Atlantic that have handed the region its snowiest winter ever, many liberal ideologues have abused the occasion to falsely connect the record snowfall to "proof" of global warming. We've all seen the scientifically challenged rant of Dylan Ratigan on his ultra low-rated show that no one watches and heard of Time Magazine's desperate attempt to misuse Snowpocalypse as verification of global warming. Neither is a scientist, so that begs the logical question, Just where are these liberals getting this bogus connection to global warming from? Enter Jeff Masters, a so-called meteorologist attached to the University of Michigan's Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences Department.

Private Science is ahead of the Public Science on that issue. Private science however is usually proprietary and we tend to make sure the government pays for it one way or the other.

The entire fault with the theory promoted by the posted article, not the Art Bell scare movie theory, is that it equates El Nino to Global Warming. The two do not typically equate. We just learned that this winter, and as typical it will take the regressives about 2-3 years to process new observational data.

it seems awfully fishy to me that he's not a climatologist, as in "climate scientist," as in the branch of science called climatology, which is more authoritative concerning global warming (climate change) analysis since it deals with weather conditions over a period of time. Masters is a mere meteorologist

The difference between a 'Climatologist' and 'Meteorologist', is like the difference between a 'Cosmologist' and 'Cosmetologist'.

Dr. Masters has a phD from Michigan in Meteorology. He is a respected professional when it comes to hurricane prediction. His carrying the water for the AGW scam has been hurting his reputation though.

We need to publish the photographs of these fools, publish their home addresses, pictures of girlfriends and lovers, and anything else we can legally publish. Make them the public laughing stocks they are. Speaking of stocks... in Old Mass, we used to put these fools IN THE STOCKS so that normal people could walk past and have a good laugh. No observations will disprove climate change theory. Climate change theory predicts all outcomes. It also predicts that people will lie about climate change theory, destroy emails, refuse to comply with FOI requests, and falsify data.

In fact, climate change theory predicts that climate change theory will be wrong, which proves that it’s right.

Of course it's sarcasm. The very essence of a scientific theory is falsifiability. The discipline that deals with theories which cannot be refuted by observations is not science, but religion.

Last night I was channel surfing and lo, there was the androgynous Bill Nye “the weather guy” discussing global warming with some androgynous woman. He damn near bawled as he supported AGW, and anathematized anyone wo would think differently. For him, the science had been proven.

The dangers inherent in heavy snow and cold to regions that don't deal with it regularly should make a HUGE point:

We're far better off with warming than we are with cooling.

Ice storms, power outages, blocked transportation, disrupted medical care, food delivery, costs of snow removal......
