Drill baby drill !!!
It is a common practice for candidates to use the campaign treasurer’s address on the statement of candidacy. I wouldn’t get too excited about this.
Come November: It’s Bye Bayh!
Administrative convenience. What you really want to know is where he owns a house for which he claims a homestead exemption on his property taxes. Home state? Or DC?
I wonder if Evan Bayh spent as much time in Indiana as Algore spent in Tennessee. It seems these second generation senators often have very thin ties to their parents’ home states.
Instructions for Statement of Candidacy (FEC FORM 2)
"On Line 7, the candidate must indicate the year of the election and the full name and street address of the candidates principal campaign committee."
Evan Bayh is a carpetbagger. When he ran for governor back in 1988, a question was raised about his residency such as having a DC Driver License instead of an Indiana one.
Will make a great campaign add.
