It is a common practice for candidates to use the campaign treasurer’s address on the statement of candidacy. I wouldn’t get too excited about this.

I'm not familiar with Indiana's election law, but I am a little familiar with a couple other states. Both those states require that a candidate swear an affidavit that they meet the residency requirements, to include giving their physical home address. Both those documents are called Declaration of Candidacy, in the two states I'm familiar.

You would think that Indiana would have a similar requirement I don't know if this "statement of candidacy" is the corresponding document. But, I would have to believe that he had to attest to his residency on some Indiana form. That form should most certainly be obtainable with a FOIA (or whatever Indiana calls their sunshine law) request.
