To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

What potential GOP Presidential hopeful has a plan to round up illegals and ship them back? I’m curious, I’d like to read their proposal.
So would you agree that, being she's for amnesty here and not so on another occasion, she's a Kerry style flip-flopper? Answer honestly.
You should be zotted for this thread.
No, addressing the invasion is merely an political issue that requires a bit more finessing than, "I support loading up rail cars with Illegals."
She also ignores the fact many illegals would return to their home country if the existing immigration laws were strictly enforced as illegals would realize they a better off exiting the country voluntarily.
We don't know exactly what she "ignores" or what solution she'd propose. Yet. Palin is on record as supporting immigration laws (i.e. "back of the line."
I’ve known about the interview since it took place, so it’s hardly something new. And “a pathway to citizenship” is amnesty by another name.
Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.
Its pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.
Go read again. She supports those here legally to continue their path to citizenship, AKA, following the rules. Everyone else, get out.
Thank you for clarifying that. Now I feel better about her again.
that's legal immigration not amnesty...
You say there are 36 million illegals in America. How many LEO’s, buildings and dollars does it take to round up, process and escort to the border 36 million unwilling people including millions and millions of kids?
What does that mean?
Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.

Comparing McCain's reptilian history to Palin's makes no sense and you know it.
You mean they have changed since pre election.
“What ARE you talking about?
Which people?”
The same lobbyists and aides and pols who pushed immigration “reform” in this manner. Those were specific items from the Bush era bills.
I assume she retains some fellow thinkers of this sort as advisers. I could be wrong.
Solution: get her to write down the details of her immigration reform ideas. For me, living through the past battles, her current words are the same as coded bad words of old.
I don’t know, and I don’t care. The rule of law and our nation’s sovereignty is priceless. Do whatever it takes.
And even if YOU call her a flip flopper, hasn't she flopped in the right direction?
Their rhetoric is identical, and they ran as a ticket. You'd be crazy to ignore that.
Please give the names and plans of those GOP presidential hopefuls who espouse deporting illegals. I want to read all about it.
