Is anyone going to object to a recess?

Johnsen is such a pro-abortion radical that she has gone as far as saying pregnant women are subjected to a form of slavery and they should have unlimited abortion rights so they don’t become “fetal containers.”

As the former legal director for the pro-abortion group NARAL, Johnsen argued in a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court that denying a pregnant woman the right to demand unrestricted abortion is to subject her to slavery, which was outlawed by the Thirteenth Amendment after the Civil War.

One illustration of why a junk RINO like McCain would have been worlds better than the Obamanation we wound up with.

Within recent memory wasn’t there a situation where the opposition party stayed in town (through Christmas, maybe?) rather than allow recess appointments?

There is no objection to a recess appointment. The only good part is that it would expire when the new Congress convenes next January.

Remember the Dems keeping the Senate in session by a few showing up during the summer of the last Bush term? They kept Bush from making a recess appointment by not recessing. Could the Repubs do the same?

Wow! Reminds me of something I read having been blurted out during an exorcism. Johnsen's statement out-Herods Herod.

I’m pretty sure the ‘Rats did stay in session to prevent recess appointments, but I don’t thing the GOP has that kind of backbone.

She would be our worst nightmare on the Supreme Court.

It depends on who she would replace. If she succeeds one of the current 4 pro abortion clowns there's be no particular problem.

Don’t the American people know by now that ObaMao is intentionally appointing and nominating the most radical extremists he can find, as a kind of “in your face” gesture? He’s telling us to “shove it!”
