If you are honest you will admit that at 76 you do not have the skills you had at 36.
My inlaws are that age and I would not care to have them in charge of ANYTHING.
That does not mean that everyone who reaches 76 is ready for a shelf, it just means that it is time to slow down.
Your argument is conceded. It’s just that one should not call his elders “relics.” Not nice. That’s all I was saying.
