So, Michelle Obama seems to be as delusional as her husband. Yesterday, she said that childhood obesity (a Crisis!) is a threat to national security. No, really. She actually said that:
(CNSNews.com) At a ceremony at the White House on Tuesday, First Lady Michelle Obama announced the launch of the Lets Move campaign to end childhood obesity in the United States, an epidemic she said is costly and a threat to national security.
A recent study put the health care cost of obesity-related diseases at $147 billion a year, Mrs. Obama said. This epidemic also impacts the nations security, as obesity is now one of the most common disqualifiers for military service.
Fat kids are a threat to national security? I dont think shes really being fair; her husband is not fat. I suppose now instead of man-made disasters, terrorism will be called donut-made disasters? I just gave my kid fried chicken nuggets for lunch. Shall I now refer to her as NSR (national security risk)? Shall I make her new punishment You go to bed with evil, security risky dessert!!
Besides the stupidity of the national security premise, the entire initiative is ridiculous and a waste of OUR money. She goes on to say that we dum-dum parents cant figure out what food is healthy or not, without the aid of Big Nanny Government. Hey, Michelle? Your husband is Big Nanny Government and he still doesnt realize that smoking is bad for you (which, by the way, is the one thing that I like about him.)

I read a report the other day that stated that 75% of american utes are unable to pass the entrance physical for the military. Now, I don’t know about that, but I do know that when I tested a bunch of national guard infantrymen a huge chunk of them were unable to do more than a few pushups or situps. These were young guys, and they weren’t fat, per se, they were weak and out of shape. I told them that they were dead men walking if they didn’t get their rears in gear.
Except for terrorists.
KK....................
She sure likes to exercise control.
Quite right. Well said Deb.

Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.

You noticed that too? Very few blacks are tankers but the higher ranked enlisted who supervise are almost all black. They don’t have a clue what the troops are doing but they keep screaming. Army Times stated 2 yrs ago that over 50% (maybe more) of the top rank Sgt Majors were black and only 15% of the Army was black. Said that it could lead to charges of reverse discrimination. Lot of good that article did.
She looks like the Grinch. Same weird smirk.
Now that just makes me want to go get a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts tomorrow..
“Al Qaeda is now carrying Ho-Ho’s, Twinkies and soda pop in their backpacks?”
Wouldn’t surprise me. New tactic, fatten up the infidels to make them weak and too lazy to defend their country.
