It was despicable how President Bush was attacked daily.

And calling him a monkey, like some people call other Freepers around here.

It broke my heart. Such hate.

And I'll be the first person to speak up and/or scream, but only when it's really, really necessary.

I have asked some of these folks how they think that hate is a conservative attribute, but they never ever answer the question.

I've lived my whole life as a conservative, and I've never seen anyone I respected as a conservative who was filled with hatred.

And when you compound that with the fact that the man they hate is good and decent and honorable, it makes their emotional animus even less "conservative."

That's why the DU trolls blend in so well with them. There's not a whole lot of difference between them.
