Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) on Tuesday used the D.C. snowstorm to make a political jab, saying that it provides evidence for global warming skeptics.
The conservative senator took to Twitter on Tuesday amid reports that the area is due to receive another 10 to 20 inches of snow this week:
It's going to keep snowing in DC until Al Gore cries "uncle"
Some conservatives have echoed DeMint's sentiments that the snowstorm should poke holes in evidence backing global warming.
DeMint took direct aim at the former vice president, who is one of the foremost proponents of government action to counter global warming.
Reports of more snow caused the House of Representatives to call off the rest of its votes scheduled for this week. The Washington, D.C. area was blanketed with about two feet of snow last weekend, causing the Senate to adjourn Thursday earlier than expected on Thursday.

It's well past time to ridicule THEM, especially since they're so deserving. They haven't hesitated to ridicule conservatives and their families, so turn-about is fair play.
And ridicule works. Look at Gibbs little stunt yesterday. His palm-note joke fell flat. Even the lamestream media groaned.
Liberals don't know how to handle ridicule, since they're rarely ridiculed. They get angry, and they make mistakes.
The next time we see Al, he's going to be sporting a beard, and he'll be 50 lbs. heavier.

LOL!
“The family of Sen. Jim Inhofe, a vocal skeptic regarding man-made global warming, had some fun at climate change crusader Al Gores expense by building an igloo near the U.S. Capitol.
The Oklahoma Republicans daughter Molly Rapert, along with her husband and four children, built the igloo over the weekend as Washington was hammered with a fierce blizzard.
The family posted a cardboard sign on the igloos roof reading AL GORES NEW HOME on one side and HONK IF YOU [HEART] GLOBAL WARMING on the other.
Sen. Inhofe, the ranking Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, told Roll Call newspaper that his familys ironic tribute to Gore was really humorous.
The senator even posted several photos of the igloo on his Facebook page.”
Thanks, When will ALGORE say Uncle?
He might say Uncle Joe (Stalin). LOL
I am liking Senator Demint more and more. I hope that he runs for President in 2012.
Me Too!!
Thanks for the ping!
