The funny part of calling things “European” in the USA is that it is only for selling things. Most Europeans will tell you that it is BS and that they have never seen stuff there like that before. So whenever something is called “European” mostly that is to sell to Americans who don’t know any better.

You mean Slim Whitman didn't sell millions of records in Europe before late night promos?

You know I actually Googled Slim Whitman and by golly he was more popular in Europe than the US.

Go figure. A yodeling folk singer was a smash hit in Europe.
