There are a few other options that might work with young children: give them Legos and teach them to be playful beings; give them a ball and bat (ball and hoop, ball and ...) and teach them to be athletic beings; give them a book and teach them to be thinking beings; give them a Bible and teach them to be spiritual beings. If it weren’t for the profit in abortion, I suspect PP would have thought of those alternatives to telling ten year old children to go have casual sex and act like nothing more than animals.

Planned Parenthood may overlook the fact that kids may not want to be “sexual beings”.
Last year, when my daughter was 10, she saw the public school sex-ed video. They explained with a medical-looking diagram, exactly which body part goes where.
She and her fellow students were totally put-off and grossed out. She would be absolutely horrified if somebody tried to giver her a condom and expected her to put it to use.
Maybe Planned Parenthood thinks sex is the most important thing to be doing at all times. But there are many 10 and 11 year-olds who are wiser than that.
To be used as what? Water balloons? I can’t even get a ten year old to use a washcloth.
I have a son who will be ten. I guarantee you he has no idea what a condom is for, or even that condoms exist. I plan to keep it that way until he is the proper age to know —which I will determine— and I kindly invite Planned Parenthood and their ilk to mind their own damned business.
Planned parenthood has worked so well to date, it’s just amazing that they haven’t been barred from addressing the public on such matters in perpetuity.

It’s about time these sections were enforced not only on Planned Parenthood, but on every school district that encourages violations of the former by distributing condoms, an act that satisfies the elements of the latter.

The question is when are a significant number of girls becoming sexually active with boys of a similar age?
A quick internet search doesn’t show any significant number of births for girls ten or 11. But girls 14 and less brought 6000+ babies into the world in 2007. Which was the lowest number of births to girls 14 and under since 1955.
