Reminds me of the scene in "The Patriot" when a British detachment is traveling through the woods, dragging Mel Gibson's son as a prisoner. Suddenly shots ring out. One by one by the British soldiers fall. Eventually, the bullets stop but the tomahawk work begins. There's blood everywhere. The entire British detachment is wiped out (almost) and the prisoner is rescued and led away.

Afterward, a lone survivor is being questioned by Lord Cornwallis. As the interrogation proceeds, it becomes clear that the British were wiped out by a single man.
