AP: First lady Michelle Obama says President Barack Obama "has done a phenomenal job," but that people have a right to criticize him.
In an interview broadcast Tuesday on ABC's "Good Morning America," she said getting things accomplished in heavily politicized Washington is "a constant struggle."

Nothing special to brag about.
Both Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez had better first years than Obama.
And Adolf Hitler is still a better public speaker than Obama.
So, Obama really does not stack up too well when compared to his peers.

I never thought that was the right term. Better would have been “The subtle bigotry of lowered expectations”
Bigotry is never soft but it certainly can be “subtle”.

Sure, SHE's had a fabulous first year...jet-setting all over the world, buying gaudy fashions and being gah-gah'd over by the state-run media.
Trips to Europe, shopping sprees in Paris, and a dream vacation in Hawaii...and none of it cost her a CENT...we paid for it all.
It's the apex of the welfare program...somebody else pays.
I'm sure she'll aways be remembered as one of our
