Nope. She was referring to something Pat Buchanan said, that Obama would have to “play the war card” to regain popularity. She liked the idea of more support for Israel but never alluded to the support for “playing the war card”.
BAD idea, pushed by the nuttier members of the Israeli Right, and their apocalyptic supporters in the US, many of whom are not Jewish, btw. We should instead be supporting the opposition within Iran to undermine the Mullahs.
But hey, if you want to alienate the young, anti-Ahmadenijad opposition, kill innocent people, and send billions of dollars down a sinkhole fighting yet another war, you are entitled to.
Minnie Pearl once again should be careful when she speaks.
