I CANNOT believe that is what they were so worked up about.

I bet GOD is smiling right now. He has a sense of humor. I think all this controversy was meant to be and he wanted The Tebows' story to get all that publicity.

Jeepers, the only thing that would cause a controversy (here) would be if Ms. Tebow was functioning as a Mormon missionary when she was pregnant.

I CANNOT believe that is what they were so worked up about. That was nothing like we were told it was going to be, did they change it at the last minute to leave egg on the faces of the pro aborts?

I think they edited the ad that was causing a stink, and this was the re-do. Just a thot. I cannot believe this is what PP was so worked up over.

Saw the ad & thought it was going to be much more. It was nice.
What about the pre-game Obo speech? Anybody see that?

No one had seen the ad, not even Planned Parenthood. What was causing a stink was the fact that Tim Tebow was not sacrificed to the god “Choice”.
To: bboop
Nope. There were two ads. The first aired a few times during pre-game, and is fairly serious. The second aired during the game, and had a “punch line.” The ads you saw are the ads the were prepared for the SB.

That was nothing like we were told it was going to be, Who told you what it was going to be? NOW and Planned Parenthood were the ones describing the ad. All Focus on the Family said was that it was going to feature Tim Tebow and his mother, would have the tag line "Celebrate Family. Celebrate Life."

"Nope. There were two ads. The first aired a few times during pre-game, and is fairly serious." Wonder if the other ad is available to watch over the net....

We switched to the more meaningful Puppy Bowl until it was safe to return.

I think it was a brilliant ploy by CBS to deflect controvery over Peter Townsend's arrest for child pornography. Once the whole kerfuffle over Tebow, the feminists, the gay dating ad got going nobody's talking about Townsend.I remember it came up back when the Who was first announced, but I couln't find a FR thread on it .
Just this:

I have no opinion on his guilt

Why? You know how they operate. You people need to get over the feeling that everything you read in the MSM is ever slanted toward truth.
