Sarah Palin is seen at the 0:47 mark using hand notes to answer a question.

I disagree. Most all who make speeches including all of our presidents use teleprompters. I have no problem with them doing that.
So?!?!?!?
It would be an improvement for the dummy who uses a teleprompter to speak to 6th graders
mo betta than paper....she saved a tree
That’s not my point. My point is that you believe people on this board would take issue with democrats using hand notes and such. I disagree. And, as I pointed out, it’s a ‘feeling’ you have and nothing more. Facts not in evidence.
I must say that video does not actually show her hand - metaphorically, too.
BFD
It is my opinion based on my experience. I am not being rude.
Kinky.
I like it.
LOL! Is that all they got?
I can see it now... BO looking left then right then wipe...
It’s things like this that endear Palin to every day Americans.
From an earlier thread we had...
RED NECK TELEPROMPTER
TELEPALMTER
and now including considering her flying skills...
PALM PILOT
She shouldn’t write on her hands. She should carry a clipboard with a yellow legal pad on it. If asked about it she could respond, “Thomas Jefferson always kept punctilious notes, and you know the ol’ saying, ‘great minds think alike’. Now, do you have any relevant or intelligent questions?”
ROFLMAO!!!
That picture and caption had my wife and I cracking up for well over a minute!
Thanks for the laugh.
Cheers
“The least we can do is be honest.”
I agree, but, when it comes to her, freepers do so at their own risk.
Frankly, I’m embarrassed FOR her.
I never said you were rude. Simply that your remark was based on facts not in evidence. It’s like trying to prove a negative. You can’t.
This isn’t the first thread on this. An earlier thread had a number of posters who have admitted to giving any number of speeches, and using the same method of crib-noting. I myself have on occasion. It comes in handy.
My points were: 1) It’s not a bad thing; 2) It doesn’t imply the person is incapable of giving a good presentation; 3) It’s not comparable to someone who can’t handle not having a teleprompter (or any crutch for that matter), and fails miserably without it; 4) One can’t prove a negative; 5) I don’t see many, if any, on this board criticizing the opposition for using such a simple tool.
SO!
