Yep in a battle for governor and doing what Perry does best, say what he thinks the audience wants to hear. But the talk doesn’t match the walk as Perry used some $12 billion in stimulus money to balance his state budget.
Perry may choose to run for the GOP Presidential nomination but he pledged to serve the full four year term if he is re-elected.
......Under questions from a panel, Perry said if he is re-elected he will serve his full term of office if the “good Lord” lets him live that long......

His support of the Trans Texas Corridor with foreign ownership is a big negative in that regard.
That will guarantee a second Obama term...Even if they (Obama) don’t believe they can win it...
I called a Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin ticket over a year ago.
Not very likely. Aside from looking like a televangelist, and having some heavy baggage related to his insiders and their cushy lobbying jobs, he will not excite the party base and will have very little attraction to independents outside the state. He may be the tallest midget in the race for governor, but that doesn't mean he would be a viable candidate for Commander-in-Chief.
