Apparently, all that bowing and scraping hasn’t bought him any credibility.

What do you think of the idea of Sarah Palin visiting Japan?

Lets assume her and her family intend to visit Tokyo Disneyland, and during the stay may make a public speech concerning future relations with the US and Japan and global security, trade, yada yada yada?

That will be the funniest part, BHO won't be able to contain himself. He (they) will make this into an even larger issue.

“Apparently, all that bowing and scraping hasn’t bought him any credibility.”

The Japanese don’t respect personal weakness anymore than we do.

She criticized Obama for only spending 9 minutes on Foreign Policy. How long did Palin talk about Foreign Policy?

Yes, several of us were floating the idea. And furthermore we were thinking of venues for her to attend, places to make speeches and some general PR reachout such as to a Japanese place for kids with special needs. That kind of thing. But we needed a senior person from Governor’s inner circle in charge of scheduling to Freepmail one of us to get it rolling. There would be a lot of work in this regard, but it would be an excellent suggestion of a key place to go and make a Pacific Relations speech.

I can honestly say it would be a tear jerker PR event to have a Special Needs Day at TDL with an Honorary Foreign Ambassador such as Sarah Palin, or would that be over the edge?

Thanks for this. I always look forward to your insights and translations as to what is being thought over there.

“In either scenario BO/BS would be giving her more credibility and attention by responding directly to her.”

He will respond. It’s in his character and psyche to do so. He responds to private citizens, news organizations, single comments by people on the street.

He cannot abide any criticism.

Its been said though not proven that Obama has been on FR many many times, I do think he reads or gets a rundown on whats said here.

I say this because of patterns in what the forum buzz is and then shortly afterwards what slips out of his mouth.

The MSM has been yammering about her speech since yesterday.

They are afraid of her and the Tea Party movement, that’s for sure.

All else being secondary, it would just plain be the *right thing to do*. Yes.

Sarah Palin would be an absolute natural with the Japanese People. They would fall in love with her. They would identify with her much more closely than with Obama. And she would empower Japanese women to the 10th degree factor to hang in there, break through the glass ceiling and do anything their minds were made up to do; after a few days stay she would leave with rock star status out of Japan with lots of friends, like I said, women would particularly be intrigued to see her and would take great inspiration from her in Tokyo. I can guarantee it. These are two just made for each other. Sarah Palin and Japan. Even if just for two days.

“...Obama has been on FR many many times...”

That’s a bit scary. I’ve always thought Emmanuel and Axelrod were running the administration. A working, governing president wouldn’t have the time or inclination to surf FR or any other site.

I know GWB didn’t.
