oh, thought she was up again in November .. the way she’s been covered with the LA Purchase, it sounded like she was seriously vulnerable. Someone not running for 4 years can be vulnerable that far out and not have it affect the reelection.
I remember her lagging on election day when she ran v. Haik (?) and personally going down into the 9th Ward to get people out to vote for her, so she pulled it out.

This election is more proof that democracy simply isn’t for everyone.

Who’s that guy on the right? Why that looks like Gov Jindal. He sure seems happy.

He's Mary "Louisiana Purchase" Landrieu's brother.
Thanks Brytani.

New Orleans is corrupt central. This can't be good.
I wonder what the state media will say when the next hurricane hits NO while BO is president? I'll bet we will get the same silence we got when the floods hit SD and IA

Brother to Mary and son of Moon Landrieu mayor on NO years ago. All in the family.

Exactly - there are a few places we simply shouldn’t even both fielding candidates; NO is near the top of the list.
I’d hoped Jindal would have cleared out LA corruption but it’s still alive and well. Maybe it’s a voodoo thing!!!

The elites only complain when it’s the Bush Family.
Kennedy’s, Clinton’s, Landrieu’s, Carnahan’s are exempt.

On the other hand, anyone is an improvement over Nagin, so Mitch will look good by comparison. At least until the first corruption scandal hits the fan.

God help us if they are family. A resident told me once that the whole state is the fiefdom of a few families and nowhere more so than NOLA.

Mary Matalin worked on this mans campaign. When people asked how she could be married to someone like ole "Corporal Cueball" I have been saying since the 41 days that both are just peas in a pod and nothing more than political whores laughing all the way to the bank. So now I still expect the pot shots back at my view so fire away.
