Wonderful! And thanks for keeping us posted. I love it when the snow piles up tail deep to a buffalo. I recall a snow in the DC area one year which was over 24 inches. My mother measured 31 inches out on Blake Lane in Fairfax.
18 inches last night.
Best of luck and stay safe.
You guys are AWESOME!
Believe it or not, being in South TX, I miss the snow. There’s nothing like home with a pot of soup boiling, beautiful music playing and a roaring fire.
Now as for standing on a street corner in that mess.... ;-)
You guys deserve an award!
I’m glad y’all are dedicated!
I’ve been wondering what you’ve been up to - shoveling!!! Alaska seems more in the news lately, at least in the lower 48, or is that 57 per obambi.
347 inches, is that average? Stay safe on your roof.

A few more inches would have stopped us. Streets at 5PM, when we made our decision to go, were still down to bare paving. All the salt from previous snow falls helped. That’s great considering snow flakes started to lightly fall around 9AM.
I consider ourselves just holding the fort for when you all make it again.

Triple Taxman Bravo Zulus!
1st BZ: For being there in such bitter weather!
2nd BZ: For staying there in such bitter weather!
3rd BZ: For standing for all of us in such bitter weather!
I am so glad to know how your evening progressed. I know you are now safely home and that is the very best news.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks for getting this out so fast! I was worrying all evening.
You are welcome.
Been shoveling for two days now, off ‘n on of course. Both vehicles are down to the paint and most of driveway is done. Can’t go any where since snow plows haven’t been down our streets. Not looking forward to shoveling out the snow plow barricades that end up at the end of the street. the whole hill end up in front of our driveway. the operators try to keep most of the snow away from the driveway but they can’t do it all.

You deserve this. Please share with Mrs. T & Bill.
XOXOXO
I most sincere Thank You.
Lurker Bill is a true lurker so I’ll have to let him know by email.

MRS...
Unbelievable!
It sure is pretty though.
Check this picture out!!!!!
Oooooo that is so beautiful. Brrrrr.
Wow ! Looks like a New England winter down there. God Bless you all for getting out there in the snow at WR !
Thanks for your continued support. Is the poster called Landryfan still coming around?
New England DC style, yipper. At least down here the big snow falls keep the socialists out of congress.
I was thinking of you all while shoveling Olney’s 26 inches. And more coming tonight. We don’t have enough of these snow falls to buy a snow blower.
If we get the full monty (another 18”+) then we might not get out in time to make Walter Reed. I figure any amount around 15” or less and we’ll be there. Forecasters are predicting at least 15”.
