The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove which Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. That matches the Presidents ratings just before the State-of-the-Union Address. While Obama received a modest bounce in his ratings following the speech, todays results suggest that the bounce is over.

Looks like there were two days of either a serious bump or an incredibly rare double day outlier for a rolling poll.
Oops! “The Thrill Is Gone”.
He got a small bump after the SOTU, but it has disappeared and then some, since people starting realizing that everything he said in there was a lie.
But the unemployment number dropped! /s
Another thing - where did this “although people may not like his policies, 64 percent of voters still find him likable” or some such thing. Since when did the “likability” factor come into polling. I think this is simply a way to slant reporting the facts. It sounds so much better to say “while 41 percent of the voters disapprove of his policies, 60 percent still find him likable” than it sounds to simply say “a clear majority of voters disapprove of the President’s policies.” They did this with Bill Clinton, as well, stating that while people disapproved of the President, they were generally happy with their jobs and the way the nation fared. At no point during George Bush’s presidency did polls offset the relevant numbers with foolishness about likability, etc.,
Perhaps, however unemployment is STILL on the rise!
These polls are based on statistical sampling methods, so any given snapshot has a really good chance to be off by 2 or 3 percent in either direction. That alone can account for dramatic extremes.
Another factor that may have been involved in the SOTU bounce is that this Rasmussen index measures ‘strongly approve’ - ‘strongly disapprove’ ratings. My guess is that the State of the Union didn’t alter any of the ‘strongly disapprove’ numbers, but it may have temporarily moved some Dems from the ‘approve’ to the ‘strongly approve’ categories due to the tingles going up their legs when O speaks. That kind of romantic bounce from the base won’t last through Valentine’s day.
Well, "popped" would do however I like your style. ; )
They asked this with Bush, though it was rarely reported. At his worst, Bush was still polling around 60% on this question.
Today’s numbers are the:
Lowest Ever Total 0bama Approval: 44% (ties with 1/23, 12/24, 12/22, 12/18/ & 12/14)
Second Highest Ever 0bama Disapproval: 55% (lowest was 56% on 12/24 & 12/22)
Like that old Chevrolet advert.
Don't you love the irony.
All he had to do was present a budget that showed a real reduction in deficit spending over last year and he’d be in plus territory. Instead, he’s come off a liar and hypocrite. With the exception of the rock solid core of “true believers” the rest of America is done with him.
More bad news for the gay muslim socialist from Kenya.
SOTU Dead Cat Bounce....how sweet it is.....
After the SOTU, I think people re-realized he’s a Moslem plant from Saudi Arabia:

I pretty much agree. I have no idea what in the world he’s thinking proposing such a budget.
Those who want Obama’s programs must be looking for a handout. They should ask the people in the poll if they want a free gift from their liberal friends in the government?
That’s a 3-day moving average.
Could be it’s about to plunge. Canceling our moon program, might just be the stupid move which wakes some Americans up.
