When Kaku was a teenager, he built an atom-smasher in his garage whose magnetic pull was strong enough to pull out the fillings of anyone nearby.
That's something straight out of "The Far Side" comic strip.....LOL!

From around the universe they come to pay homage to the Messiah. First the wise men bearing gold, frankincense, and myrrh — or is that mirth? No wait.. Barry inspires tons of laughter already.

However, I'm sure that unless they were made of steel, people's fillings were safe.

Uh -aren’t fillings non-magnetic? Last I heard, mercury/silver amalgam and gold were not ‘attracted’ to a magnet.

Dr. Kaku didn't mention whether it is headed toward or away from Earth.
Has anyone heard from another source the answer to this question?

He's a relatively frequent guest on George Noory's popular all night show CoastToCoastAM and like Noory he had no use for that dumb Bush.
His last appearance with fill-in and original host Art Bell he surprised and pleased Mr. Bell by continuing to advocate global warming and defended those who believe in it.

“There must be trouble in Gotham City.”
If there’s intelligent life beyond earth, these space aliens presumably have been monitoring earth and surely would have observed that this planet’s most powerful nation had inexplicably handed the reins of power to an inept and inexperienced president whose bungling of issues such as Iran and N. Korea might easily culminate in thermonuclear war.
This disturbing turn of events might well have motivated this civilization to dispatch a diplomatic mission to warn Americans of the danger this “leader” posed to the survival of planet earth. Unfortunately, this civilization has not yet mastered the art of crossing the galaxy through wormholes, hence it is taking time for their spaceship to arrive “the old-fashioned way.” Hopefully it will arrive sometime before the November 2010 elections.

You are going to have to study up on your languages. It is Klatuu Barada Nicto, not Klatu Verada Nicto:). I’m afraid you have just told the robot to destroy the world instead of saving the Alien.
