Well, the guy in post 26 was killed so he can't speak but he may have been offended to learn that his heroics were given to a girl that never fired a shot.
Miller is still alive, and his comments about Lynch are in post 33. I agree with him, and although I think that Johnson's language is imperfect and a little off center, I sure get her point.
I can’t remember all the details about the capture. But, in all fairness, Lynch herself did not seek attention. The heroic story about her was fed to the media by other people, and, according to what I’ve read, she herself disputed it.
