Yes, those are the words of the president, last night at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Washington. After listing his administration's accomplishments and vowing that "our most urgent task is job creation," Obama pledged to keep fighting for a national health care system. "We knew this was hard," Obama said. And then he described a letter he received from a campaign worker who suffered from breast cancer and has since died:
I got a letter -- I got a note today from one of my staff -- they forwarded it to me -- from a woman in St. Louis who had been part of our campaign, very active, who had passed away from breast cancer. She didn't have insurance. She couldn't afford it, so she had put off having the kind of exams that she needed. And she had fought a tough battle for four years. All through the campaign she was fighting it, but finally she succumbed to it. And she insisted she's going to be buried in an Obama t-shirt.
Many observers have noted that the president often seems extraordinarily self-referential. It's all about him, they say. But even those critics might be a little taken aback by the "buried in an Obama t-shirt" remark. Is it really that much about him?
Others ask how some of Obama's statements would have been covered had George W. Bush made them -- for example, if Bush had pronounced "corpsman" as "corpse-man" (as Obama did twice at the National Prayer Breakfast). Had Bush mispronounced the word so badly -- and he did say some weird things -- it's likely many commentators would have rushed to fit it into their Bush-is-stupid narrative. Now, it's Obama who's sounding strange.

We’re all going to be buried by the Obama Health Care Bill.
Harry Reid has asked to give his concession speech in an Obama T-Shirt.
...and she was cremated wearing the Obama t-shirt:
Ms. Shouse requested that her body be cremated wearing her Obama T-shirt.

You mean, “corpse man”.
I believe Obozo is decompensating again. He actually means that he wished for America to be buried in an Obozo t-shirt.
He always brings up ‘someone’ who’s in love with him or his policies ...
Assuming this fantasy was true. The woman was “very active” and part of our campaign. So was she working at a job or just working on his campaign? Did he pay her?
Could she have gotten health insurnace or paid for health insurance if she got a job or second job to buy health insurance?
Looks to me like it was her own choice to “start her own business” and not buy insurance.
... also, GWB mentioned people who did something for others or the country ....
That’s creepy.
Clinton used the same BS tactics when he tried to pass health care reform. He even read a letter from a family who claimed to have lost everything due to medical bills.
What wasn't anticipated was that a case worker in Calif. where it happened was very familiar to that family and she called in to Rush's program to explain in detail exactly what happened.
As it turns out, the county was fully prepared to assist that family with financial aid but the family declined to even return phone calls.........
It was a democrap set up!
thanks. I am going to post that elsewhere too.
Yeah but adding the sick part about her wearing his tshirt in burial is really disturbing. I don’t even know what to make of it. This guy’s off the charts pathological.
*****....and she was cremated wearing the Obama t-shirt:***
So now it’s a brown shirt?
Ditto
“He always brings up someone whos in love with him or his policies ...”
You are right. I try to avoid listening to anything he says because it is just inane rambling.
I wonder if he uses that sort or style of speech to Michelle ...
No doubt the dead libtard will continue to vote Democrat.
