There are so many things wrong with this article I can't mention them all. Obama would probably duck a lot of this if he would just admit he isn't a traditional Christian, in that Jesus is the center of everything and the Bible is important. Of course, then most people would realize he's not a Christian, period...

Conservatives can’t make Zero not going to church too much of an issue because the Dems are inevitably going to say that Reagan did not regularly attend church either.
To: I still care
For instance, this one:
“Obama is Christian, thought the passages he receives from DuBois can encompass many faiths. It’s just one way of staying connected to his spirituality, advisers said.”
That’s like saying you are a conservative but for inspiration you read Worker’s World.
Or this one: “Obama’s spiritual adviser, the Rev. Jim Wallis, can’t understand with the “preoccupation” with if and when the Obamas will decide on a formal place in which to worship.”
This is one of the biggest fallacies non believers fall for. It sounds nice and all that, that your religion is in your heart and you don’t HAVE to do organized religion. But the sad truth is, it does not go with muscular Christianity. If you “forsake the gathering of yourselves together”, your Christianity tends to become weak and useless.

If he had a history of actually practicing a christian religion this wouldn’t be a big deal and could be viewed as another element, an element of the times
But he relies on his staff to choose and send him inspirational messages to his blackberry
and obamites are touting that as proof he is Christian?

IF he is receiving the true Word of Christ, no matter what us mortals believe, it is the 'seed'. I despise Obama as a Patriot, but ultimately believe, that the word of God/Jesus is more powerful than anything we can do. We are commanded to 'pray' for our leaders and in that light, I pray fervently that the Lord opens Obama's heart to His word. As an American citizen, I would like him 'removed' but I've seen the power of God in my own life and I've seen even the most hardened, come to recognize that the Lord is God. If you are a praying person, and besides praying that 'he will be removed from office', pray that he will come to accept Christ as Savior. If he rejects the 'tugging' of the Holy Spirit, then he will experience the consequences. God's word is stronger, more pulling, more apparent than any of our Tea Parties and our objections. God is THE ONLY WAY. Believe me, I'm not preaching....but I know the hand of God/Jesus from experiences in my own life. So I would encourage everyone, when you hit the floor on your knees, to keep Obama utmost in our prayers and that would be that the Lord God of the Universe 'touches' his heart. /off
