I know- living in Florida is the same way- the instant there’s a remote possibility we’re getting a hurricane- the weathermen go just over the edge.

Oddly- when we’ve had the REAL hurricanes- they get very sober and serious. The hysteria seems reserved for possibilities :)

LOL - we're all the same. Out here on the Oregon Coast, when there's a big winter storm predicted (we don't get much snow, but the winds off the ocean can be 100MPH+), everybody rushes to the Safeway, and gets the cars gassed up.
