How a “Nice American Girl” Became a Jihadist

She studied at MIT and at Brandeis where she received a Ph.D in Neuroscience. Thus, she was both an educated and in some sense, a westernized woman. Both her Pakistani-born father and Pakistani husband are physicians who trained in the West, in England and America, respectively; her brother and sister are also highly trained professionals. Nevertheless, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui learned to hate America, hate Jews, and hate Israel right here in liberal America.
Like a small but increasing number of “westernized” Muslim women, Aafia Siddiqui joined her local mosque (in her case, the Roxbury, MA mosque [3]) and started to veil, and as she did, her ambitions became aggressively jihadic. This is not a contradiction. Obediently veiled Muslim women can be very aggressive, murderously so. They certainly police other women in savage and self-righteous ways in Iran and Indonesia. In Iraq, veiled Muslim women have blown up other Muslim female religious pilgrims [4]. And, Muslim women who were normatively spurned by their mothers were manipulated by Samira Jassim, an attentive, “loving” Iraqi mother-figure, who carefully turned them into suicide killers [5].
Women are very aggressive—but usually towards other women. I have written about this in Woman’s Inhumanity to Woman [6]. Traditionally, women do not go up against men whom they view as their potential protectors and as more powerful than they are. Ironically, Islamic jihad wishes to reverse, upend, both Nature and human evolutionary history. Just as normatively degraded mothers are “turned” into hero-mothers who publicly praise their suicide killer sons—just so, are normatively self-hating women “turned” into Al-Qaeda heroines who not only directly attack men, but who directly attack infidel male soldiers.

Why are these “mosques” that radicalize still standing?
She was never a “nice American girl.” She was a Muslim woman taking advantage of our country’s generous educational subsidies who, instead of being grateful, turned on our country, and us, and was doing what she could to destroy the very land that educated and supported her. She is a blood-thirsty ungrateful wretch, and there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, just like her that we have nurtured. The mosques that produce these creatures should be shut and burned to the ground.
1) She was never a “nice” girl. She was an obedient girl who internalized Daddy and imam’s chip on the shoulder and ran with it.
2) She was not raised as an “American” but as a muslim zealot. These professional muslim zealots do not assimilate- they use what they want from our culture to build a comfortable life from which to criticize, scorn or hate the rest of us. But then, they are not so different from the red diaper babies of the American left.
3) Her attendance at university was part of her terrorist grooming, not anything intended to “westernize” her or build a better life. Read Debbie Schlussel’s article.
4) probably most of her professors and a lot of her classmates hated America, Jews, and Israel just as much as she did- including the ones who were Jews. Go figure.
geez, she must have loved brandeis!-not.

I hadn't realized that this woman was an American, I thought she'd always been referred to as Pakistani.

And we’re supposed to embrace diversity???? Mosques are at the center of terrorism. Period.

It does make you wonder why we bring them back alive, doesn’t it? A few bullets would be profoundly cheaper than a trial, and morally more justifiable.
Change the she to he, Brandeis to Harvard, leave the hatred, and who have you got...

Captured on the battle field and tried in a US Court. Mistake, she should have been tried by military and executed a long time ago.
Her trial was a zoo and the jury was threatened by spectators. How would you like to have been one of those jurors?
