Sarah Palin should forget 2012 -- and become the next Oprah instead
New York Daily News ^ | Andrea Tantaros

Posted on 02/04/2010 6:24:51 PM PST by MarkAccord

With the exit of Oprah Winfrey now slated for 2011, is Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, first female GOP vice presidential candidate, mother, author, liberal hallucinogen and now television commentator, poised to fill the void left by the Queen of Talk?

You betcha.

Though many believe she's set her sights on the White House in 2012, Palin should get this through her head now: She would be far more influential as a talk show host than she would be as a presidential candidate, and she should start planning her career trajectory accordingly.

I say this not because Palin is incapable of being an impactful politician, but because she has been profoundly hindered by the left's hateful and perplexing obsession with demeaning and destroying her at all costs.

That sadly renders her a distraction to both parties - one who'd be better off stepping out of the political limelight (at least for now) and into the TV spotlight.

I won’t say who, but I’ve heard from one other person BIG in GOP media the same thing-—that her strength is not as a politician but as a media presence.

Andrea Tanteros is a top Republican hack who regulary appears on Fox’s 2 am Red Eye program. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Andrea Tanteros is a hack GOP operative on somebody's payroll, and it's not Sarah Palin's.

“As conservative commentator Mark Steyn writes, “If the nonpolitical sphere is permanently left-of-center - the movies, the pop songs, the plays, the sitcoms, the newspapers plus the churches, schools and much else - it’s simply unreasonable to expect people to walk into a polling booth every other November and vote conservative. The culture is where the issues get framed and the boundaries set.”

Palin could use her platform to highlight her favorite things - family and faith - and educate women on critical issues like the growing autism epidemic and financial literacy, while simultaneously grilling celebrities from time to time.”

“Andrea Tanteros is a top Republican political consultant...”

If so, then apparently NOT Conservative, and more than likely if she is a consultant with the current GOP leadership a RINO. Garbage in, garbage out.

Flame away. The GOP sucks.

Watching Sarah Palin speak off the cuff, and Scott Brown speak off the cuff . . . I would prefer Scott Brown for President any day . .and so would most other Americans. He just seems more rock solid.

not because Palin is incapable of being an impactful politician, but because she has been profoundly hindered by the left's hateful and perplexing obsession with demeaning and destroying her

It is for THIS exact Reason that Sarah MUST become a presidential candidate for 2012.
She can capture the attention and respect of the average American voter because She Is one of Us.
She has a proven to Withstand bribery, corruption, self-interest, self-promotion* and no-questions-asked party loyalty.
She puts the American people first and foremost, is die-hard Pro-Domestic Drilling/mining, Pro-guns, Anti-Illegal Immigration, Anti-voter fraud and obviously Pro-Life.
The fact that She has governed Exactly in this manner proves to us that She is More than Qualified to be President of the United States of America.

* = her book Going Rogue was to re-introduce herself and her Real life story to the US and World public after the MSM seriously-screwed her image in 2008]
