WASHINGTON President Barack Obama said Thursday he prays lawmakers can restore a "spirit of civility" to the nation's capital.
Speaking at the annual National Prayer breakfast, Obama said divisions in Washington are nothing new, but "there is a sense that something is different now, that something is broken, that those of us in Washington aren't serving people as well as we should."
Obama said America's leaders are quick to unite in times of crisis, such as last month's devastating earthquake in Haiti. But when it comes to long-term problems, he said, lawmakers can become absorbed by ideology and power contests.
He urged leaders to be empowered by faith to bridge divisions.
"You can question my policies without questioning my faith. Or, for that matter, my citizenship," Obama said, referring to critics who have questioned whether he was born in the United States.

And in speaking of the American military's work in Haiti, he mispronounced "corpsman" as "corpse-man." Because in the circles in which he's traveled all his life, no one cares about, much less respects, the military.
It's tough for such a person to be POTUS. Tough on his nation, not on him.

God will answer that prayer but not in the way Obozo wants. For civility to come to Washington it will require the removal of Obama and the liberals from positions of power.

Does he use a mirror when he prays, or does does he close his eyes and just visualize his image?
To: NormsRevenge
He didn't pray, he lectured and politicized the event.
Shameful.

Speaking at the annual National Prayer breakfast, Obama said divisions in Washington are nothing new, but "there is a sense that something is different now, that something is broken, that those of us in Washington aren't serving people as well as we should." I think it has something to do with the fact that a whole lot of us don't want to live in a socialist country.

“You can question my policies without questioning my faith. Or, for that matter, my citizenship,” Obama said,
I can question whatever I feel like at whatever time I want to...so get used to it Zero...and, btw, what's up with the continuous usage of me, my, and I in all your talk?

President Barack Obama said Thursday he prays lawmakers can restore a “spirit of civility” to the nation’s capital.
THEN WHY DOESN’T OBAMA TAKE HIS WORDS AND ACT ON IT INSTEAD OF EXPECTING OTHERS TO DO SO.
Don’t believe his words, only his actions (but watch out for the actions of his yes men.)

President Barack Obama said Thursday he prays lawmakers can restore a "spirit of civility" to the nation's capital. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
After Obama, Pelosi, and Reid locked Republicans out of legislative conference, refused to release proposed legisltation so it could not be read even by those voting on it......
And this Obama, this parasitic leech like thing on the ash Haole of democracy, is "praying" for a return to civility?
Obma destroyed ALL civility by himself.
Tremble little parasite. America has awakened and now we will destroy you.
