Obama's prayer: 'Don't question my citizenship'
World Net Daily ^ | 2-4-10

President Obama today at the National Prayer Breakfast raised the issue of his own eligibility for office – saying that people shouldn't be questioning his "citizenship."

Talking about the issue of "civility," he said, "Now, I am the first to confess I am not always right. Michelle will testify to that. But surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith, or, for that matter, my citizenship."

Obama continues, "Challenging each other's ideas can renew our democracy. But when we challenge each other's motives, it becomes harder to see what we hold in common. We forget that we share at some deep level the same dreams – even when we don't share the same plans on how to fulfill them."

The questions, however, over Obama's "citizenship," actually go to the core of the American republic. Multiple lawsuits have challenged that he is not qualified for the Oval Office under the Constitution's requirement that U.S. presidents be a "natural born citizen."

The plaintiffs – who run into the hundreds so far and who still have a number of cases pending at the appelllate level – have alleged that failing to meet that constitutional requirement means he actually is a usurper, with no actual authority to be president.

On a forum page at The Hill newspaper, one commenter wrote that the president has only himself to blame for the questions.

I thought the Larry Sinclair homosexual allegations against Obama in 2008 were more interesting, frankly. Why don’t we revive that issue as well?

There is a 100% chance that he is hiding something. It might be related to his citizenship, his religion, birth name, or marital status of his parents. But there is definitely something that he is concealing.

Most of the men who have been Presidents of the United States were not born in hospitals. It was only in the 20th century that that became the norm.

I can't blame Obama for not remembering what hospital he was born in. I can't remember anything about my birth either. (I was very young at the time.)

I do hold it against him that he's a nasty hyper-partisan narcissist who wants to destroy the United States as we have known it, but that's another matter. He's also incompetent--I don't know if that will work to our advantage in preventing him from accomplishing his goals, or just cause a lot of us to get killed in terrorist attacks.

No doubt about it. And the list is longer than that, as I’m sure you know.

Clinton gave us “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy for service in the military.

Obama is trying to give us “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy for citizenship so that any citizen of the United States could become President, instead of just a “natural born citizen”.

Hey, Obama! Prove you are a “natural born” citizen. Not merely a citizen. If you are natural born, why spend so much money keeping it a secret?

How do you know that the ad in Honolulu Advertiser wasn’t planted in 1961

I DON'T know. All I am doing is posting a picture of their page they have on microfilm. I'm assuming this is the same thing O'Really is talking about. I'm just reporting.

If Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, he had 6 months from the time of his 18th birthday to affirm his US citizenship.

If he was adopted, and did not formally affirm his US citizenship between the dates 8/4/1979 and 2/3/1980 he is still an Indonesian citizen and not a US citizen.

Where was Obama during those dates?

At Occidental College, where there is strong suspicion that his tuition was paid via a Fulbright Scholarship — available to foreign students.

No wonder he hides all his bona fides — his history is a mess.

...show us, on TV and his personal website, readable images of those newpaper items...

The newspaper birth announcements aren't evidence of anything. No court would ever accept them as evidence of anything.

I know if Obama handed the clerk down at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles his Certification of Live Birth and two newspaper clippings from the classified section, he'd never, ever get a driver's license.

That all Obama can show for his life are two old newspaper clippings and a document that has been demonstrated to be a counterfeit.

Just recently, Jill T. Nagamine, the Deputy Attorney General for the State of Hawaii, has made it clear that her office will not corroborate or back in any way the July 27, 2009 Statement of Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii Department of Health, which declared Obama Hawaiian-born and a "natural-born American citizen."

Obama's got the whole world dancin' when he could end this with a phone call.

Anyone that believes Obama is on the level and there's no fire behind this smoke is insane.

I’m not waiting for BHO to clear it all up because I believe he has already done so by in his own writings his father was a Kenyan and subject to British rule. Article I Section 8 provision #9 embeds the Law of Nations into our Constitution and that treatise spells out that a”natural born citizen” (as required for POTUSA) is one ‘born in the country of parentS who are it’s citizenS” Bho is a usurper who can be punished by the same Article Section 8 #9. Much to be said why the Founding Fathers constructed the Constitution to definitely prevent persons like BHO from sneaking into the POTUSA.

We know you’re a citizen, you pillock.

We're moderately sure, but there is still the outside chance that he was born in Kenya, or more likely Canada, when his mother had not lived in the US for the required 5 years after her 14th birthday. If that is the case, and he's never been naturalized, then he is not a citizen, not even a statutory one.

“I don’t understand. WHY don’t you think it’s important to know if obama is a natural-born citizen or not??? It’s one of the requirements in the Constitution - if he doesn’t fit that requirement, then how can he be President???”

Sure would like to see an explanation of that so I can let go of this issue. To ignore the difference between being a citizen and a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution makes no sense to me.

We know you’re a citizen, you pillock.

But are you natural-born?

*******

Obama, we know you were born somewhere, but were you born at Hawaii Kapiolani Hospital as you claim?

Obama, your 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate will tell us if you were born at Kapiolani Hospital, or somewhere else.

I don't think that even dear Ms. Dr. Fukino would dare make a fake 1961 Hawaii long form birth certificate and secretly file it in the Hawaii birth records.

So, Obama, if someday we are lucky and Hawaii releases your long form birth certificate, I'm pretty sure that the hospital name on the birth certificate will be the correct name.

Obama, and what about the name of the doctor who delivered you? Can you give us his name?

Nothing is stopping you or your press secretary from publicly mentioning and praising your birth doctor's name at a press conference.

That is, mentioning your birth doctor's name in public is certainly not prevented by some so-called privacy laws that no one has ever heard about.

So why not do us all a big favor and tell us the name of your Hawaii birth doctor? Come on. Be brave.

Sadly, you won't give us his name, but his name is surely on your Hawaii long form birth certificate, if a doctor at Kapiolani Hospital delivered you at that hospital as you claim.

I don't understand your statement above.

1. Kapiolani Hospital: Obama and his supporters say that he was born at Kapiolani Hospital, so I don't understand why you talk about presidents who were not born in a hospital.

2. My point is this: Obama will be in a lot of trouble if we find out AFTER looking at his long form birth certificate that he was not born at Kapiolani as he claims.

3. You see, if Obama was not born at Kapiolani or any Hawaii hospital, then the very serious questions arise (1) as to where he was born and (2) if was even born in the United States.

4. And if Obama can't seem to remember the name of his birth doctor, there is a simple solution: He can simply look at his long form birth certificate, the one that he claims he found accidentally at a early age in a statement that he made in one of his books.

5. You don't know the name of your birth hospital? I don't expect you to know it this minute, but I would expect you to find out the hospital name in a few minutes by easily finding your birth certificate in your house and looking at both the hospital name and the doctor's name on your birth certificate. I don't think that such a task would be too hard for you.

6. So, what I expect from you is all that I expect of the President of the United States: If he doesn't remember the name of his birth hospital or the name of his birth doctor, then I would expect that he could easily and quickly find the names by looking at his long form birth certificate that he has stored away with his other very important family papers. Is that too much to ask of the President of the United States?

No wonder he warned us at the prayer breakfast not to question his citizenship. It's probably as non-existent as his natural born citizenship.

I was trying to be facetious. I know very well where I was born--I have a birth certificate from the hospital with a photo of the hospital on it. When I was 8 or 9 I was in that hospital and my mother pointed to one of the doors and told me that was the room I was born in.

Obama could have been born in Hawaii but not in a hospital. Given that by 1961 most people born in the US were born in hospitals, it's likely he was born in a hospital.

Obama obviously has something to hide or he would have spent $10 or $20 for an official birth certificate and released it, instead of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep it secret, but we don't know exactly what it is that he is trying to hide. I think it's very likely he was born in Hawaii but that there is other information that would come out that he doesn't want the public to know.

Assuming Barack Hussein Obama Sr. was his biological father, there are legal issues about whether Barack Jr. is really a "natural born citizen" but I can't see the courts at this state saying he is unqualified to be President (whatever the technicalities of the law would say). The law is whatever the judges want it to be.
