Cancer-stricken Elizabeth Edwards is telling pals that John beat her during a horrific marriage-ending fight, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
"John lost his temper big-time," revealed a close friend of Elizabeth.
"She has the divorce papers drawn up, but she can amend them to charge John with domestic violence.
"She's holding that over his head right now - and he's scared. Elizabeth is in control."
Elizabeth privately disclosed all the shocking details of the alleged attack, says a close friend.

According to Edwards assistant who wrote the book and who Edwards wanted to take the fall for getting Edwards' mistress pregnant:
The assistant said they were going to need more money to keep the woman quiet, and Edwards responded, "We'll have enough money when my wife is dead."

As others have noted, the same people who thought he’d be great in national office are the same people who thought Clinton was the Greatest Politician Ever, the same people who thought Gore was an Intellectual Giant, and the same people who lined up in droves to vote for the O and his gang of misfits.
The problem isn’t immoral, sleazy Democrat politicians, the problem is that half the country, fully half the country think they are just what this country needs. This is the great problem with Democracy. Take a look at your neighbors up and down your street and understand that these are the people who outvote you on election day.

As a victim of domestic violence, I do not take Elizabeth’s actions lightly. I have a feeling this fight was 50/50.
Just because Johnny Boy is a sleazebag doesn’t make Liz a Paragon of Virtue.
I did not say that Liz was. I am saying it doesn’t surprise me he hit her. I am also not surprised she belted him, I am surprised she didn’t shoot him.
