I’m pretty sure Biden would be acting president until a new president could be voted on by the people (from everything I’ve read on the subject anyhow). Biden wouldn’t necessarily be the president by default and ride out a term he got elected into if the president himself was found to not be eligible and was removed from office. The ticket Biden got elected on would be tainted because of it and the selection as vice president on an invalid ticket would therefore be invalidated.
That’s my understanding.

Only one person other than Obama got any electoral votes for President. So we'd get McCain. Not sure I'd not rather have Biden.
