Las Vegas mayor: Obama has hang-up about our city

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman on Wednesday said President Barack Obama was a “real slow learner” for once again insulting Sin City as a place of reckless spending, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

“He has a real psychological hang-up about the entertainment capital of the world,” Goodman said during a press conference called in response to Obama’s latest Vegas gaffe.

“I want to assure you, when he comes, I’ll do everything I can to give him the boot back to Washington to visit his failures back there,” Goodman told reporters.

Goodman, who switched party affiliation from Democrat to Independent last year, was prompted to respond to Obama comparing irresponsible spending to blowing cash in Las Vegas at an event in New Hampshire Tuesday.

See, I think Obama sees Vegas as where “the cool kids go”. He was never one of the “cool kids” growing up.

Nah, he’s just an idiot.

It’s so painfully obvious that the guy has little political ear and as he goes flailing about, “fighting” for his proposals, he is hitting common allies just about as often as he is the perceived enemy.

He’s never been held to account for his words (au contraire, no, always adulation and insulation) and he’s never taken on serious, weighty policy in his life. He doesn’t know how to do it. It’s not like ginning up a crowd of inner-city rabblerousers which seemed to simple to him. No doubt, he thought he could just turn it up “a notch” and being POTUS was gonna be a cinch. It always worked before, after all.

Well, it doesn’t work in the real world without a fully scripted, prompted presentation, without hint of doubt from the select attendees, and the fully vested media to run interference (nee, censorship) for him.

He is flat-out being exposed in painful ways. He doesn’t know what to say....or do....or which way to go because he’s never been tested by anything like this. Remotely.

It makes you wonder where it’s all gonna go and how it will end....

I think there is a lot in what you say - not only about Vegas - but in many areas concerning the obamaTATOR. He is a petulent child, seemingly intent on "payback"; payback to whom? How about the "Rich", the "Free", and the "White".

He's got a chip the size of Texas on his shoulder, evidenced by every piece-part of his agenda involves the devolution of America, destruction of our culture, and aggrandizement for himself.

He is every bit as much a "terrorist" to America as anyone they have in Gitmo, and should be impeached and tried for treason in trying to destroy America.

He's is, and has always been, a spoiled-ass, AA baby, punk.

Speaking of slow learners. Las Vegas was what made Nevada go blue for Bambi. I am having a hard time feeling sorry for my neighbors down south but you guys voted the d*ck in. How’s that hope and change working for you now?

Didn’t the dims “bend” all kinds of election rules to make sure the SEIU types got to vote and of course vote for the one? Voting at work and all kinds of fun stuff such as that. Aren’t the SEIU types the ones whose jobs are dependant on people spending money in Vegas? Isn’t Andy Stern, the head of SEIU the guy who has visited the White House most frequently? Isn’t Andy Stern a major finacial contributor to bambi? Didn’t Stern make a major push to get out the vote for bambi? Purple shirts?
