I live in Illinois, and Kirk will not be getting my vote. By my calculus, with two hard-left liberals (Kirk and Gianawhatever) splitting the liberal vote, the field is wide open now for a 3rd party conservative to walk in and win in a 3-way election. If we can avoid the shortcomings that came up in NY-23 (which was partly due to a compressed timeframe), this is doable. NY-23 was a similar situation, IMHO.
Is there a playable conservative in Ill that could do this?
