Um, no... Must be her “brand”. This really IS a stretch. I noticed she said, “White Men” as well. Does she think if a black man were in the board room the name would’ve been different? It’s clear they called it the iPad because it’s like an electronic legal pad (OF PAPER!!!). Yes, I chuckled at the name, but that’s about it. It’s actually quite intelligent as it has gotten people talking about it who may not have given it a second thought in the first place.

It’s clear they called it the iPad because it’s like an electronic legal pad (OF PAPER!!!). And it plays off of the "iPod" brand name that is now so ingrained int he public consciousness that it is basically a generic term to refer to an entire class of products (see also: Kleenex, Aspirin, and the once-ubiquitous Walkman).
Once people get over their juvenile snickering, they'll be lining up to buy 'em.
