I can appreciate that she wants to visit the high population centers but these are exactly the places that she very probably won't win. A better strategy might be to visit the rural districts and make a strong effort to strengthen her brand name there. These are her people. These are the Christian, right wing, pro-life, conservative types that she needs to connect with, that she needs to convince that she isn't just a pretty face. She has a chance here but it isn't a given that she will win here by any means. These are hard times in Ohio and there's a lot of hard choices in store for Ohioans. Ohio isn't in the mood for BS.
9:15 am Palin rally in Lakewood, Ohio, in 2008.
What are you talking about, the article said that she gave money to Ohio conservative politicians, nothing about her visiting high populated areas.....
She may be building some political capital with potential politicians winning and getting their support if she runs in 2012, but there is no mention by Politico or people familiar with her thinking said anything of the sort.
If she’s looking for enthusiasm and large crowds she need to come to Butler and Warren counties. The largest Tea Party crowds in the state are here.
Hold a rally with the Tea Party at Voice of America in West Chester and see how many show up.
If she didn’t draw 50,000 I would be shocked. Bush drew that the last time he was here and she’s more popular. Put her together with Kasich, Portman and Chabot and you might get 100,000.
