They seem to be getting more shallow as time passes. They seemed to average a depth of about 8-10 km until today and within the last two hours one was recorded at a depth of only 0.5 km.

The shallow ones are steam, happen all the time, if the magma gets to .5km it’s all over.

So. they started a couple weeks ago down abut 8 miles and now up to 0.5?
I'm on the coast of Maine - but I still remember the summer that wasn't - after Pinatubo let go in the Philippines.
And I have a lamp made from Mt.St. Helen's ash.
I'm not liking this.
