Yellowstone Volcano Observatory Updates

Everybody thinks that people will die if a massive volcano happens at Yellowstone. Not necessarily so. We could see a volcano explosion 500 times more powerful than Mount St. Helens and that does not mean anybody will die. Except maybe a few squirrels and maybe a grizzly bear or two.

Remember this doesn't mean we will see an eruption and it most likely means a normal volcano. It is very unlikely we will see a caldera eruption. But these changes are significant and cannot be overlooked... Since the most recent giant caldera-forming eruption, 640,000 years ago, approximately 80 relatively nonexplosive eruptions have occurred.

They seem to be getting more shallow as time passes. They seemed to average a depth of about 8-10 km until today and within the last two hours one was recorded at a depth of only 0.5 km.

Cool except for the millions that will die if it does. Wonder how much aid the US would get from the World, (cough, cough)when it does go off. More than likely cheers from most of the world like what happened on 9/11. Do know that in Indonesia they were cheering as the WT centers collapsed. I expect it would be the same with anything that hits America.

Yep! You can just imagine the opportunities that obamao and rhambo are drooling over if only they can get a major eruption to cause some chaos...

WH-style commonsense will dictate:

1. Confiscation of all weapons in the hands of serfs;
2. Shutdown of all talk radio; and,
3. Executive order eliminating Presidential term limits.
