President Barack Obama took another dig at Las Vegas at his New Hampshire town hall Tuesday after similar remarks got him into hot water last year.
Obama said that people should now "blow a bunch of cash in Vegas" during a tough recession. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman called for Obama to apologize after he made comparable comments last February.
"When times are tough, you tighten your belts," he said at the forum." You dont go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You dont blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when youre trying to save for college."
The president targeted Las Vegas last Feburary at a town hall in Elkhart, Ind. when he was asked about corporate responsibility.
Really?.....Unlike you blowing a bunch of taxpayer cash in Washington D.C.???.....YOU DAMN JACKASS!
That settles it.
I just received an offer for free air fare to Vegas and free rooms.
I’ve decided to take up the offer and stimulate their economy.
Viva! Viva! :-)
My guess is there is a typo. NOW should be NOT.
Good luck GOP_Lady! Let it ride!!! :)
You shouldn’t buy a boat when you can’t pay your mortgage.....
You shouldn’t buy an expensive car when you can’t be bothered to pay for health insurance.....
Oops. I guess the second one isn’t in his America bashing speeches.
But his budget says we should spend our way out of the Recession....which was declared over?
I was just thinking the same thing.
I have recieved many free room offers For Vegas.
I could stay five nights for free.
I have not however recieved any free air fare deals.
Lucky You!
Also, shouldn’t people not be taking “date nights” that cost taxpayers a quarter-million bucks? Just sayin, Zero.
Don't worry, Obummer and the democrats are working on that little problem. They should have it fixed soon.
Those silly white people and their wasteful trips to Las Vegas! Contemptable.!
It seems that Ossama, at least by my politicking in the check out lines at Market Basket, has a misconception of the political feelings in NH. Off Sparky to LV.
And how does that relate to “Date Night in New York” which easily cost the taxpayers over a hundred grand. Or how about 10 days in Hawaii at $4,000 plus per night. I guess we should do as he says, not as he does.
try over one million
Go for it!
Just don’t get roped into any timeshare deals.
One of the many things that is so annoying about this SOB is that he always comes off as lecturing us...
That comment should put the knife in Harry Reid’s Heart. If you can even find a heart there.
