And for the record, if Scott Brown is pro-abortion, he is not a Conservative either and I withdraw my support of him.

Theres a difference between taking the libertarian position and being pro abortion. That is ridiculous, the libertarian position is the pro abortion position.

If I didnt love my country so much, the ugliness at FR would drive me away from conservatism altogether. This place really does put the dark side of conservatism on display for all to see. Gee, the sacrifices that you make for your country, even trolling for Mitt Romney on freerepublic.
Aren't you the noble beast.

The CREED OF THE ROMNEYBOT
The greatest way a RomneyBOT can serve America
is by lying for their shapeshifting, backstabbing,
fascist, socialist wannabe.

Brown has been clear about his position on abortion from the beginning.

“Mitt Romney went a step further in a 1978 interview with the Boston Herald. Talking about the Mormon Church and racial discrimination, he said: “My father and I marched with Martin Luther King Jr. through the streets of Detroit.”
Yesterday, Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom acknowledged that was not true. “Mitt Romney did not march with Martin Luther King,” he said in an e-mail statement to the Globe.”

Hmm. Reminds me that Mitt also claimed that he saw his father march with MLK.Many people don't know that Mitt Romney has also claimed at times that he himself marched with MLK.
Was that before or after he weally, weally wanted to run LURP teams in Vietnam?

Anyway, Brown was like a 2002 version of Romney, without the Mormonism. (Brown is Christian Reformed). And patriotism. Brown was a Army officer, unlike the Mitt and six generations of Romney males, none who have ever, not once in two hundred years, worn a uniform. ( what's up with that? )

Unfortunately, he is. He doesn’t support partial-birth abortion, or government funding for abortion, but does not want to overturn Roe V. Wade, which means he won’t be on our side in a judicial filibuster.

Well then, I’m glad he took the seat in Mass, but I certainly won’t be joining his fan club. Baby steps I guess.
