OK. No sweat.
Thx.
I'm not a Bible scholar, but I have always thought that the translation of John 19:30 in the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures put it in the best perspective for me:
John 19:30: When, now, He had received the sour wine, Jesus said: "It has been accomplished!" and, bowing his head, He delivered up [His] spirit.
I really like the use if the word "accomplished", as opposed to "finished". To me, it makes the meaning much more profound, and reveals the whole process as being much more deliberate.
Not meaning to pick at nits, just sharing a thought.
Hahaha! Well I'm looking forward to them attempting this... if for no other reason than to see those great balls of fire burst from the foundation! It'll beat the wrath scene in "Raiders."
Of course the true temple will be built by none other than the coming King himself.
Thanks for sending that Giovanna!
Yes we are close my friend!

Yes we are close my friend!
Well, I've spent a whole lifetime realizing that "we are close" ... :-)
That's not to say that we are not close, but that the timing is not always what we think it might be. And I'm not saying that things are not progressing towards the end that the Bible says they are. And I'm not saying that things will "cycle" out of where they are now, and then later on (a few hundred years later) they will "cycle" back into where they are now (as some say).
I believe we are on a "straight line track" to the "last of the end days" prophecies, concerning Israel, the Rapture and the Tribulation time, with the coming of the Messiah of Israel to set up His Kingdom on this earth.
It's a "straight line" and there are no deviations... BUT ... let me say the following... :-)
If you've watched a footbal game and see when the opposing team gets down to the last ten yards, if those teams didn't have four downs to make it -- they would probably run 50 plays in those last ten yards (if they could... LOL...)...
You would be amazed how many things could happen in those last ten yards and yet still not cross the goal line...
It's not that they "back up" to the 50 yard line and start over and make another run at it... they don't lose ground and they are moving "straight ahead"... but they sure can squeeze a lot of "plays" (if they want) out of those last ten yards and still not cross the goal line, if the other team is pretty well matched.
SO..., for my lifetime, it's been like those last ten yards and we still haven't crossed the goal line yet... LOL...
Sure, we're getting close, and sure, we're not backing up to the 50-yard line and starting another "run" at it again... it's all been a "straight line shot" to the end... BUT... you might be amazed how much can still be done, before we cross the goal line... :-)
[A lot of this stuff that you hear about are the very small details, and it doesn't "advance" things very much, although they are details that need to be put into place, in any case.
It's like the refs getting out the magnifying glass in the football game and seeing that the ball has advanced exactly 1/10 of an inch (so there's "progress" that has been made) but it's not that significant to the goal line... :-) ... It would be like saying that the quarterback burped and now will be able to throw the ball better; he may have burped, but whether it makes any difference or not is questionable... LOL...]
JESUS SAID *IT IS FINISHED*
What Jesus said was finished is finished -- but -- "the show is not over yet..." :-)
It's finished but it's not done yet...
Remember all things that are prophesied in the Bible (that's "all things") must be done, and there are quite a few things "not done" there, yet...
Even Jesus, Himself, left out key sections of Scripture, distinguishing what part He was doing now, and what part was to come later one.
So, once again, "It is finished" but "it is not done"... :-)
Hi St!
Well maybe what I mean instead of saying *It’s Close* is that we are almost to the *Finish Line*
The finish line would mean the race (Battle) is complete or done like you say, and Good has triumphed over evil....
:)
I know nothing about this particular company or effort, but rest assured the temple will be rebuilt.
And another thing (and yes the Temple will be rebuilt) -- Christians should realize that this is merely a "marker" for a prophesy that will happen. In other words, the "Temple" has to be in place in order for the Antichrist to be the one who stands in it and declares Himself to be God.
Just because the Bible says that something is going to happen, doesn't mean that this is also something that Christians should support. It's merely a "marker" to the coming events that must take place, even though they are events that are evil and despicable.
This is Satan's Temple that he wants built. It's not the Messiah's Temple. When the Messiah of Israel returns to set up His Kingdom on earth, He will be building His Temple.
I wouldn't be contributing anything towards this thing happening, because it would mean that I would be contributing towards "Satan's temple"... and I'm not going to do that... :-)
But, as I said, it is a "marker" along the way to the Tribulation time....
NOW you're talking!
The rebuilding of the Temple will happen, but it will be "Satan's Temple" and not God's... :-)
This guy looks to be a disciple of Satan, to me... And, at any rate, no Christian should be involved in supporting anything to do with the rebuilding of that coming Temple... because why should we be supporting Satan in his work?
INTERESTING.
THANKS.
Is the data showing some sharp . . . turns or changes in intensity or some such relative to the Feb 11 thing?
The finish line would mean the race (Battle) is complete or done like you say, and Good has triumphed over evil....
I can absolutely guarantee you -- that we have -- at least -- one thousand and seven years -- before "it is done!"... :-)
We've still got the 7 years of the Tribulation time, and then we've still got the 1,000 years for the Millennial Kingdom on earth (during which time evil will still be "in play"...). It's not until the end of those 1,007 years (at the minimum) before all evil is conquered and all things are set back in place as to where they were "in the beginning" (as God made it and intended it to be) at the Garden of Eden, without sin in the world...
So, we've really got a long ways to go... actually, but it will be intersting... I'm looking forward to it. :-)
Oh... and by the way, I wasn’t being critical of what you were saying... I was just “piggy-backing” on what you said and saying something more... :-)
2. I contributed something toward it IN ISRAEL in 1973.
You are aware of the fact that I also know that this is going to happen, basically because the Bible makes it clear that there is a Temple "in place" where the Antichrist stands in it and declares himself to be God. That's how we know it's going to happen. It has to be there, in order for the Antichrist to be able to do that.
But, just like I don't support the coming Antichrist even though the Bible makes it clear he will come and makes it clear what he will do -- in like manner I don't support the coming rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, because it is Satan's Temple and not God's Temple, even though those who are building it will call it God's Temple.
The real and legitimate Temple, will be built by the coming Messiah, after He sets up His Kingdom on this earth. This current "rebuilding" of the Temple, will result in it being destroyed and "judged" by God Himself, after which time the true God and the Messiah of Israel will be building the true and Godly Temple in Israel...
BUT..., having said all that -- it is an excellent "time marker" for how close we are getting to the coming Antichrist and the coming judgment of God on this earth, during the Tribulation time.
I know you were not being critical....Sometimes I just wonder how many in Israel and the Arab world have read the Revelation timeline and what they think about the return of the Messiah, even though at this point many still do not know it is Jesus Christ, or maybe they do ?

In my estimation, whomever in Israel and the Arab world has even looked at and/or read the book of Revelation, it's only hyperbole to them, and not real. It's symbolic and nothing more to them, and it only "reflects" (in their own minds) a "peculiar mindset" of Christian thinking that they can ignore, because they "know" it's not true... :-)
So, not very many have read it and even less have any inkling that it is true.
But, there are Messianic Jews in Israel (who believe Jesus is the Messiah of Israel), although their numbers are small, overall, but they are growing in number).
And with the Arabs, if they believe Revelation and it's timeline, then they are probably already Christian (although again, in that world, that's not very many).
In regards to this particular event, me too... :-)
