You call those facts?
*rolls eyes*
ROFLOL!
Well...since Bushes are said to have class whenever they do anything questionable, I'd guess it's noblesse oblige.
Jeb was a good gov of FL. Jeb should run for Senator against that hillbilly, happy slappy, gomer pyle, hee haw, doofus, hayseed and dumba*s Bill Nelson.
I would vote for Mitt for POTUS before Jeb. The Bush is are open borders, La Raza, Bilderberger, CFR, Davos, Illuminati stooges like McCain.
“Excuse me? Those are two VERY lefty view.”
I “cut” too much. I was focusing on the Schiavo issue. I don’t for one minute believe that George Bush didn’t win fair and square. He got my vote both times.
As for the part about Terri Schiavo, you’ve got me stumped. I took it to mean that Jeb Bush tried to stop her husband from taking her off of life support. I can’t remember what stance Jeb took on that one.
If ol’ Jeb thinks showing up at the WH with his old man to pay homage to Obuma makes him look Presidential, he’s as delusional as the current WH occupant. No more Bushes-one was enough, two is twice that, and this country doesn’t need and can’t afford another one. A Bush is a Bush is a Bush is a disaster.
I scratch my head along with you over the Bush extended ‘family’.. more like a fraternity.. lol
On a side note, those lefty views are part of the article that was posted. Left-leaning analysis maybe to stir up trouble yet again?
First of all I don’t hate him, but he is a “moderate” who wants to talk about government spending more money to solve problems.
But above all, he claims to be ‘pro-life” but did not act to save Terri Schiavo’s life decisively.
The RINO’s in his legislature like the late Senator Jim King of Jacksonville stood in the way.
Jeb should have told them there would be consequences if they didn’t pass a law to save her life.
Otherwise, he should have used emergency powers or have his brother in the White House (who signed symbolic meaningless legislation about Terri) use some federal force like Kenendy did with the Civil Rights protests in the 1960’s.
No hate here, but definitely no support for Bushes.
Bush 41 was always pro-abortion anyway. Bush 41 opposed RR in the 1980 GOP primaries as “pro-choice.” When he ran for president he said he was pro-life to get votes.
Mrs. Bush 41 was always more vocally and adamtly pro-abortion. Both Bush 41 and Mrs. Bush 41 told Larry King in 1993 they believed in a woman’s “right to choose.”
They stopped talking that way shortly thereafter when their sons got into politics.
Bush did everything he could, legally. The legislature almost passed the bill to protect Terri Schiavo, but his RINO enemy, the corrupt Jim King (now burning in hell), who was the GOP state senate leader at that time, defeated the bill.
Should he have gone stood in the doorway to Terri’s room? Possibly, but that would have been a private act. He acquitted himself much better than Terri’s bishop, the horrible Bishop Lynch, who forbade priests to visit her and then took off for a tour of the Holy Land when he knew she was dying, even though bishops are not supposed to be away from their dioceses at Easter.
In fact, Bush did a lot more than most average people. When I went to a vigil there, the press had turned out and set up tents to watch the protesters...and there were more of them than there were of us. It was shameful.
Perhaps if Bush had gotten more support, he would have gone and stood in the doorway. Were you there?
That said, he was a good governor here, he’s probably the most conservative of the Bush brothers, he’s well spoken and has a very good public manner - but I honestly don’t think he wants to be president.
For one thing, his wife hated politics and actually usuall didn’t even live in Tallahassee. She’s very retiring, and I certainly don’t see her wanting to be the wife of a president.
Agreed. The majority of people on this thread bashing Jeb could embrace him if things were dire enough (ex: shattering terror attack) because the Bush family has the trust of the military and intel communities.
Jeb is a spineless Rino and I remember very well his loud stance on Terri just before he ran and hid. He is not Presidential material.
Michael Schaivo was with another woman and her children.
Killing Terri allowed him to marry that woman.
Bush 43 talked really tough and did some good things after 9/11.
Our big problem in fighting terror is the international law limited rules of engagement we now fight under.
Thanks for your input. I know that “rino” term gets tossed around an awful lot but I’ve never understood exactly what it takes to become labeled a “rino”. Does it take only one issue that isn’t in lockstep with true conservatives, or does it take two or three? I’ve read comments recently that said Hayworth was a “rino”. His record sure doesn’t look that way to me, so I’d sure like to know what the criteria is in order to be labeled as such.
Though I do agree Jeb is not the perfect candidate by any stretch and he does have some real negatives, I have put my tin foil hat away way back in the closet.
CFR, Bilderbergers, Illuminati conspiracies are so passe'
Agree 100%! I will NEVER vote for a Bush again. They will stab conservatives in the back in a heartbeat and cave. No freaking way!
The last thing I want to do is change the subject of this thread into a Schiavo thread. I was only wondering where Jeb Bush stood at the time. I’ll look it up for myself. Thanks anyhow.
I don’t hate the guy or his family with the white-hot heat of a thousand suns. I don’t even particularly dislike them. But...too much, too soon.
LOL! Yeah Bush was really a conservative. LOL!
