Gives a new meaning to “pack” your kid for school.
Zelda's Love & Happiness Child Care was searched Wednesday. Detectives ... found a loaded Sig Sauer handgun, an ammunition clip for another gun and 2 1/2 ounces of marijuana.
Dang. Now I'm really curious -- what kind of "ammunition clip" was it?
For a Mauser? A Mosin-Nagant? An SKS? An M1 Garand? An 03 Springfield? What RIFLE was that "ammunition clip" for, darn it!
As to the pot, big deal. After all it was a "Love & Happiness Child Care" center.
I also have a hunch OUR gubmint grant money bought the Sig. Then again, our money has been spent in worse ways.
“an ammunition clip for another gun”
Magazine, presstitute! It is a “magazine”, not a “clip”.
Rant off.
Zelda's is not the only day care that police searched this month.
On Jan. 15, FBI agents and Milwaukee police spent more than six hours poring through records at Kiddie Springs child care center, operated by Latasha Jackson. She has not been charged, but officials said the investigation continues.
The Journal Sentinel wrote about Latasha Jackson in August, exposing how she reaped nearly $3 million from the Wisconsin Shares program - and bought a Jaguar convertible and built a mansion with an indoor swimming pool and indoor basketball court - while, for 10 years, regulators ignored red flags indicating she was scamming the system. It was part of a yearlong investigation by the paper exposing fraud and other problems in the system.
Many words over the years have taken on different meanings. Just look at the many words the used for computer funtions.
Your just beating a dead horse.
Another Milwaukee daycare provider, found to have fraudulently taken $3 million plus from taxpayer funded programs, and having admitted the fraud, is getting her license back. The reason? Not enough proof. Just a confession and a daycare without kids, otherwise no proof.
It’s sick how the “poor” get fat and paid well to run scams while working folks don’t qualify for anything more than higher taxes to support “the disadvantaged” in Milwaukee.
Your just beating a dead horse.
Yes, isn't it funny how on FR 'your' and 'you're' have become completely exchangeable.
Love your tag line. Permission to re-use?
Your just beating a dead horse.
Yeah, you’re probably right.
Thank you. By all means, use it any way you like. (Just don’t forget that royalty check every now and then...hehe.)
