Same garbaaage is going on in PA and other states, including the Russell/Murtha race. The Rino leadership would rather keep the likes of Murtha in power than run a conservative.

I was referring specifically to the NY 29th. Reed is not only a RINO but a nincompoop. He’s all in favor of having the KSM trial in NYC, and seems to be a true example of an empty suit. He was placed there by the local GOP bigwigs. If I knew he’d vote lock-step w/the Repubs I wouldn’t mind, but w/him you can’t be sure.
The 29th can still be won, but not w/Reed.
This excerpt caught my eye:
“In the last few weeks things have gotten bizarre, as Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy has reportedly been in discussion with GOP leaders about switching parties and running for Governor.”
That is a surprise. I don’t know what to think about it. We do want converts from the other side, provided we have plenty of area of agreement.
What GOP? There hasn’t been a GOP in this staten since Rocker Feller.
